Vicinity, a new social media platform, is trying to redefine how people interact with their communities. By fostering real-time, local connections, Vicinity aims to build stronger, more productive, and more supportive neighborhoods. I can’t state how excited I am to be part of this project.

Join the Team

As Vicinity grows, the team is looking for passionate individuals to help shape the future of the platform. We’re looking for interns who can contribute at least 5 hours weekly. Our positions are currently unpaid.

We’re Looking to Fill the Following Five Roles:

• 1. Front-End Development Intern - 2 Positions Open

  Build and optimize Vicinity’s user interface for mobile and web.

• 2. Back-End Development Intern

  Develop and maintain Vicinity’s server-side infrastructure and databases.

• 3. Legal Intern

  Assist with contracts, compliance, and equity agreements for Vicinity’s cooperative structure.

• 4. Events & Partnerships Intern

  Organize events and build partnerships with businesses, nonprofits, and student groups.

• 5. UI/UX Design Intern

  Assist in designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and enhancing user experience for Vicinity’s mobile and web platforms.
